A beautiful journey
One of Nidri’s great advantages is its location. Half way down the east coast, is only 16 kilometers from Lefkada town in the north and 16 kilometers from Vassiliki to the south. With its good connections Nidri is an easy journey from Action airport, Igoumenitsa ferry port and Athens in the mainland. A short ferry ride from the harbour takes you to the islands of Ithaca and Kefalonia. A 20 minute ferry crossing of spectacular scenery, sailing past the legendary island of Skorpios, takes you to the pretty island of Meganisi away from the crowds.
