The Pinewood
The best way to experience a culture is through its cuisine. We are dedicated to providing our guests with the unmistakable flavours of Greek cuisine and genuine Lefkadian hospitality, at our picturesque location on the beach, north of Nidri in Lefkada.
We do our best to source local ingredients, use traditional recipes with creativity, and use the best Greek wines to pair with our menu. We value good food, good drink and relaxing meals and treat our customers as we would good friends.
Our story
We are a family run, third generation restaurant and it all started when our grandfather Kostas build a tiny beach hut on Pefko beach and cook white whatever produce was available for the family and friends. All visitors were welcomed with the warmth of the Lefkadian hospitality. All drinks were chilled in the water well and everyone was welcome to take a nap under the bushy pines, hence and the name of the restaurant.
Our childhood summers rolled seamlessly into a beach full of voices, laughter, games and life experiences, a large family, sharing feelings, flavours, aromas and dinners under the watchful eye of our grandparents. We want to share with you these feelings of love, care, participation and creativity that defines us in the same place right on the beach, under the same pine trees and overlooking the the beautiful Princess Islands and mainland mountains.
Our menu philosophy
Rich and colorful with authentic and fresh ingredients based on the delicacies of the Ionian Sea and the Greek land. We responsibly use traditional recipes and new delicious suggestions that harmoniously balance the familiar with the modern.
Fresh Products
Our food is prepared with the freshest of products, and thus the menu changes according to the seasons and, of course, the creative imagination of our chef.

He treads skillfully between creativity and tradition, modernity and classicism. He delights the eye with artful presentation and the mouth with exquisite flavors touched by a hint of exoticism.
